Bjelin flooring

Bjelin is a Swedish flooring brand from Helsingborg that gives wood a new lease of life. As part of the Pervanovo Invest AB group, Bjelin works closely with sister brand Välinge Innovation, the inventor of the click floor, combining decades of technical knowledge with craftsmanship from its own factories in Sweden and Croatia. Using FSC-certified European oak and the patented Woodura technology, Bjelin makes real wooden floors that are stronger, more water-resistant and more sustainable than traditional parquet. At Amsterdams Vloerencentrum in Amsterdam you can see and feel the Bjelin collection, with personal advice from our specialists.

The product ranges of Bjelin

Woodura Planks

Woodura Planks is Bjelin’s innovative wooden plank flooring: 100% real wood, from surface to core, reinforced with Woodura technology. The flooring is three times stronger than traditional parquet and can withstand splashes and standing water for up to 72 hours. The XL and XXL planks are just 11 mm thick, allowing for wide planks with few joints without the floor becoming too thick. Thanks to the leak-proof 5G Dry click system, the floor can be laid by the homeowner, without glue or nails. Woodura Planks is suitable for almost any room in the home, including the kitchen and hall.

Woodura Herringbone

Woodura Herringbone is the new-generation herringbone flooring: the same classic look as traditional parquet, but with the strength of Woodura technology. The floor is three times stronger and water-resistant for up to 72 hours, and is available in two sizes: the classic 340 × 68 mm and the modern, larger 546 × 91 mm panels. The matt lacquer finish accentuates the wood grain and withstands heavy use, even in commercial spaces. This floor also clicks securely into place with 5G Dry, requiring no glue or nails.

Nadura Tiles

Nadura Tiles is Bjelin's high-tech alternative to traditional tiled flooring, inspired by the timeless look of natural slate. The floor is made of wood featuring the patented Nadura technology, developed in partnership with Välinge Innovation: wood fibres, binding agents and moulding compounds are combined to create a surface that is more resistant to wear, scratches and impacts than traditional wooden flooring. The sturdy wood core provides extra strength and prevents swelling. Nadura Tiles are resistant to heavy commercial use in hotels, shops, offices and restaurants, as well as busy areas at home. This floor also features spill-resistant 5G Dry click installation.

Vinyl Planks

Do you want the warm look of wood, but truly waterproof? Vinyl Planks is Bjelin's Scandinavian-designed vinyl flooring, inspired by European oak and finished with an embossed texture that follows the grain precisely for a realistic wood texture and a genuine wood feel. The flooring is waterproof thanks to a thick wear layer, a scratch-resistant lacquer finish and the leak-free 5G Dry click system with waterproof joints, making it exceptionally well suited for the utility room, hallway, cellar or kitchen. Thanks to Liteback technology, the flooring is up to 20% lighter and dampens sound up to 44% better, partly due to the built-in underlay. The scratch-resistant lacquer finish also makes Vinyl Planks suitable for households with children and pets.

Where does a Bjelin floor fit?

Are you looking for a floor that suits every room in your home, even in the areas where daily life is at its busiest? A Bjelin floor fits in virtually any space. In the living room and bedroom, Woodura Planks or Woodura Herringbone provide the warm, natural look of real wood, whilst thanks to Woodura technology, the floor is also up to daily use. In the kitchen and hallway, the water resistance of Woodura is particularly relevant: the floor withstands splashes and even standing water for up to 72 hours, something traditional parquet cannot handle. For a busy family life, the playful, sound-dampening Vinyl Planks are a pleasant choice. Because Woodura Planks, Woodura Herringbone and Vinyl Planks are resistant to intensive use, and Nadura Tiles go even a step further, Bjelin floors are also used in offices, hotels, care facilities and communal areas of apartment complexes: anywhere a floor needs to be hard-wearing without compromising on appearance.
